A Bible movement that is changing many thousands of lives
Almost “by accident,” in 2008, the project “Schools for Christ” began—starting in a single rural school with 262 students. Other schools heard about the dramatic results in the lives and conduct of the first students, and the movement began to spread. Soon many hundreds were enrolled, and then, thousands. The first 10,000 were enrolled and then tens of thousands. This year 150,000 books were printed and most of them are in young hands. We expect to enroll more than 200,000 children next year. More than 3,000 volunteers are teaching every week in well over 500 schools.

Bi-annual project growth
From Guatemala, the movement spread to neighboring Honduras and then, through a remarkable Christian woman and children’s worker, Maria de Dolores, to Nicaragua in one large school district. There, 5,000 children were enrolled in just the first year! Materials have been sent to Chiapas, the southernmost state of Mexico, and we expect to soon be able to give a report of the movement in that great country.
Every student in the program needs a copy of the book, with a total of 32 lessons in each. The cost of production is amazingly low and we pray to have soon the demand and support for our first million copies. Many testimonies are given that this simple program of one Bible lesson a week is not only changing the children but is already making a visible difference in the character of their schools, families and communities. For this reason, not only individual schools but whole school districts are asking for the materials and the courses are being included in the official curriculum of many schools.
The goal of the Church on the March is the spiritual transformation of entire communities and the Schools for Christ program is a pioneer effort with that goal. We pray that it will cross the seas and change and bless whole nations around the world. We seek working partners and financial partners for this remarkable challenge.
